Adjutancy is a structured ministry or team that supports leadership, especially in churches with Episcopal, Apostolic, or formal leadership systems.
Historical Origin
The term comes from military language. An adjutant is an officer who assists a commanding leader with order, protocol, and coordination.
Modern Ministry Function
A trained team, not just one person
Maintains order, protocol, and leadership flow
Supports Bishops/pastors during services and events
Coordinates movement, timing, and transitions
Oversees Armor Bearers in many churches
Assists with ceremonial and administrative structure

Key emphasis: Order, structure, protocol, and protection of leadership environment.
The Armor Bearer is part of the Adjutancy.
The Adjutancy sets the structure and standard.
The Armor Bearer provides the personal touch of service.
